October 14, 200619 yr Just tried the demo version of MS Flightsim X on my 1.2 ghz Duron, 512 megs ram, 128meg Ti graphics card. Yet I read where you need 1 gig of ram a 3 ghz processor and a 512 megs graphics card. What a lot of rubbish, seems some people are just plan arogent and don't know what they are talking about. You don't need the latest and greast computer to run this. I can turn everything up pretty high and turn the Autogen scenery off and get 11-25 fps on my computer so makes it completely playable.Same as you get that arogent attitude you can only enjoy real surround sound if you buy a system worth a few grand. This is just arogence. Truth is you don't have to spend a fortune to enjoy surrond sound. Same as computers you don't need the latest to run this. Mine is playble and that is all that matters.it's accually not that much slower than FS2004.
October 14, 200619 yr I agree. There also seem to be a lot of new ruder people that were not around these forums for the fs9 release. Andrew

October 14, 200619 yr Author Experiences with the demo don't mean much anymore. We've moved way past that now. Post your impressions with the real thing when you're able.DougPS: It's actually a lot slower than FS2004 Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
