Can I change or modify the yellow taxi lines in ADE?

Featured Replies

Hi

I brought yesterday Mumbai Airport VABB from Stinns Pacific.

Because the GSX Profil was really bad, I startet to edit the GSX 2 Profile with new Jetway Positions etc.

Then I thought I could edit some Parking positions and Taxi lines???

I must say I am completely new in this topic!

But I installed Airport Design Editor and P3D SDK.

I opened  the VABB_ADEP4_ADE.bgl file in Airport Design Editor  and I could see the schematic Airport layout.

I could change the Parking Position, so that a AI plane would stand on another place, but I could not found out

how I could change the "graphic" yellow taxi line etc.

Is there an easy way to do it, or a good Tutorial at Youtube?

Thanks for help!

Erik

The yellow taxi lines you see in the simulation appear in ADE on the AF file as either taxi links or apron links.  The difference being that taxi links will render a taxiway surface whereas the apron links are just lines on an already existing apron surface.

Please take the time to review the excellent manual that comes with ADE, and in it are sections that describe every object in the airport container in a way that beginners can understand.
