P4AO for P3D v5?

Recommended Posts

The latest version of the Addon Organizer (1.50 b02) is already configured to work with P3DV5 once the new sim is installed.

Thanks, John H.

The notes adjacent to the download link mentions that version 1.50 will be installed in a different location than previously, so any existing versions should be uninstalled first. The new version will support P3D 5, as well as concurrent installations of P3D V4.

Unfortunately, Windows Defender flags the zip file as having a virus (a known, false positive), so I had to go into the security settings for Windows Defender to tell it to allow the file to be downloaded anyway.

With the new 1.50, you should uninstall the old one (the app has changed its name and installation location).

The app is stateless, but you should re-apply application settings (like the strict package law etc. if you had that switched on)

Best regards

Wow, that was fast. I've just uploaded that version two days ago. Whoever does this must be really watching out for me...

Best regards

Do you think someone is deliberately flagging your downloads as virus/trojan droppers? If so, whoever is doing that should be slowly boiled in hot oil...😡

It certainly looks like it. Some download links on the site are flagged as evil, others aren't (it is only the links, not the files themselves). It looks like it is especially the AddonOrganizer that attracts attention. When I upload a new version it remains benign for a couple of days, then it is suddenly evil too. I must have filled out the forms to remove the link from the blacklists at Microsoft and Google probably a dozen times - and in the end I have just given up.

Best regards
