April 17, 20206 yr Today I got a hold of my friend who built my computer (he know way more about computers than I do) and asked him if my computer can handle P3D v5 and he told me that he don't see why my computer wouldn't handle v5, so I am going to go ahead and buy it. Now I just have one question. Can v4 and v5 be on the same computer/drive at the same time? I would hate to delete v4 completely then find out v5 don't work right or something like that. Then I wouldn't have v4 to fall back on because I uninstalled it before installing v5.
April 17, 20206 yr Moderator Hi Joseph, I have both v4 and v5 on the same ssd without any issues whatsoever. I believe this is also confirmed to be true by LM. Cheers, Pete I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
April 17, 20206 yr Author Ok thanks! That is good news because not only will it serve as a backup incase v5 doesn't work right, but I will also be able to copy my AI from v4 to v5. I am going to buy it tomorrow since it's almost 11pm here.
