Hello @ll,

LorbyLiveTraffic 2.0 has been released today.

  • AI traffic will now taxi in and out in Live mode too
  • P3D users can select pushback tugs and marshallers servicing the AI aircraft
  • In P3D you can also add engine exhaust effects to all AI aircraft. This happens at runtime in LLTX, the aircraft.cfg files of your AI library will NOT be changed in any way.
  • There is a version for P3D V5 too.

LLTX is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website.

Best regards

Is there a free data feed that works reasonably well with this or do you have to purchase the data?

LLTX has a free datafeed to, OpenSkyNetwork. The downside is, that this data doesn't contain the aircraft type, so LLTX assigns a random model from the same airline.

OK thanks, good to know.

To expand on OpenSkyNetwork: All aircraft in the datastreams are identified by their ICAO24 transponder ID. So when you change an aircraft model in LLTX, the app remembers that assignment permantently, stores it in a file. So after a while you would build up a database of matching aircraft of your own. Granted, this isn't ideal, but the best I can do in this situation. I always hoped that over time users would generate a database of matching transponders IDs to aircraft. But there just aren't enough users 🙂

Best regards
