Advice re P3D v5

Featured Replies

I am not that technical but have been simming for years and have a FSX,XPlane and P3Dv4.5 HF2 working well

My specs are 32 GB DDR4 3000 M HZ, Intel Core i7-8700K Coffee Lake CPU,6 cores,3.7-4.7 GHz,Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB ,Gigabyte GA-Z370 HD3 motherboard,OS Drive 1 TB Samsung 850 Evo Solid State,3TB Secondary Hard Drive Seagate 3TB Barracuda 7200RPM Hard disk.Seagate 2TB Barracuda 7200 RPM Hard Disk,Win 10-uptodate ,Asus   24” VS247H Widescreen LED monitor

Installed P3Dv5 on a hard disk- FYI for with Default settings

All good but “stutters “ when flying -best remedy so far is lowering Frame rate from 30 to 25/20

Anything else I could try?

Or are the specs just not enough for v5?

Nah, those specs are okay, not stellar, but should be good enough to get reasonable performance. You probably just need to drop your settings a little bit.

Thanks for replies

I have just loaded Just Flight C152 plus TB 10 and TB20

They seem to fly better than the default P3Dv 5 models!

Early days!
