April 18, 20206 yr HI, I'm having a problem since day 1 with P3D5 as it CTD without any error message. Checking the Windows Event Viewer I saw that that cause of the error was always the same: StackHash_2264. After almost a week of test and a bunch of format, install, uninstall, tests etc.... The exact same error occurs with P3D5 and P3D4.5 HF3. This error only happens when I have ORBX stuff installed. Some of the error logs are here. Maybe some with the same problem can test out? April 18, 20206 yr Made one 8 hr flight with HF3 to LIFR all good....used V5 day before for 5 HRS no issues... Alex
April 19, 20206 yr I am having issues with v4.5 HF3 now as well (was already getting similar errors in V5) - everything was fine in HF2. I am really word not allowed off with L-M right now as both installed versions of P3D are not working. It typically occurs using ATC windows, though I can't confirm that is only when it happens. My error log for the v4.5 crash that just happened is here: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 4.5.14.34698, time stamp: 0x5e94b5c2 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.18362.778, time stamp: 0x0c1bb301 Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x00000000000f9229 Faulting process id: 0x2cf0 Faulting application start time: 0x01d61668665eb748 Faulting application path: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: fe6ffc7f-c212-4165-b3eb-8b415439a892 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Fault bucket 1695500635903193294, type 4 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: Prepar3D.exe P2: 4.5.14.34698 P3: 5e94b5c2 P4: StackHash_4232 P5: 10.0.18362.778 P6: 0c1bb301 P7: c0000374 P8: PCH_9B_FROM_ntdll+0x000000000009CBC4 P9: P10: I am seriously considering trying to roll back to HF2, but I don't what that entails. April 19, 20206 yr 3 hours ago, shamrockflyer said: Look at page 36 of the Avsim CTD guide. Thanks Ciaran - actually I was already very familiar with that information. Not my first rodeo with FSX/P3D. Was able to complete two flights in v4.5HF3 using ATC and no crash, so it may have been something transient. I deliberately tried jumping in and out of full-screen, going to outside and back to cockpit views, going into the menus... everything seemed solid. Bruno, do your crash logs tell you the faulting module? - Kevin Windows 11 / Ryzen 7 9800X3D / MSI RTX-4080 Super 16G Ventus 3X / Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WiFi 7 / Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro / 64GB Lexar ARES Gen2 RGB DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 RAM / Dell Alienware AW3418DW WQHD 3440x1440 GSync / Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 2TB (OS) & 860 EVO 4TB SDD / WD Caviar Black 4TB HDD / EVGA Supernova 850 G5 PSU / Be Quiet Light Base 600 LX case / Virpil Warbird base with Constellation Alpha grip / MFG Crosswind rudder pedals / Virtual-Fly TQ6+ throttle quadrant / Winwing Orion HOTAS F-18 Throttle / Virpil TCS+ collective base with Hawk-60 grip / Saitek Trim Wheel / Saitek Radio and Switch Panels / Winwing Combat Ready Panel / Tobii 5
