April 20, 20206 yr I've downloaded a mytravel dc10 That's designed for Fsx and fs2004 and I run fs2004 and I have put the aircraft on and I've loaded fs2004 up and I cannot get the speed to work so it just overspeeds when taking off! is there something that needs tweaking for it to work properly on fs2004 Edited April 20, 20206 yr by Debbie60
April 20, 20206 yr WELCOME to AVSIM! Hope you enjoy your stay. When oyu say you cannot get the speed to work what do you mean? Does the plane take off OK before the end of the runway and then end up going too fast in the climb? Are you not managing to get the autopilot to work (and have set the speed to 250 knots for example)? EDIT - Is the DC10 payware or freeware (MyTravel is just a livery)? Sorry for the questions, but it may help us get to the bottom of the problem. April 20, 20206 yr Administrators Next question...I have just taken a look at the download. It is aliasing the 737-800 panel. FS2004 does not use a 737-800 aircraft. Are you using FSX as your Sim or FS2004?? You are posting in the FS2004 forum. I would suggest using the 737-400 panel from the default FS2004 737 and see if the speed indicators work. You may need to search further for a DC-10 panel.
