What I would like

Dear Microsoft/Asobo development team;

A "humble" Wishlist:

Different simulation options like a basic option in which anyone with no particular skill level can just get into any aircraft and fly and just enjoy what it feels like to be a captain in command. Needless to say this option would have to include some kind of AI to completely operate the aircraft from starting configuration on the ground all the way to the landing. The only thing left for the user to do would be to choose a departure location and a destination location and also the user will have the option to make in flight videos and use the camera systems. This option would be like if you want to call it the "For Dummies" option.  Like I said its for those amongst us who really don't have the time or patience to go through steep learning curves and complex procedures but just want to get the feeling of what it would be like to be captain in command...to experience a fantasy of sorts if you will.

Then another simulation option which would be intermediate in which some basic flying skill levels is required and also basic instrument knowledge, but where assistance is always available if it is needed.

Then there would be the advanced simulation option which would be aimed at experienced people who already know their way around all aircraft and procedures in which learning assistance is not really needed.

And as a last option the expert/professional mode, which of course speaks for itself...with different missions and challenges that simulate real life challenges and missions.

A comprehensive learning and flight school section if possible with an instructors voice (male or female) with step by step instructions on basic and also advanced aircraft operations and procedures ranging from cold and dark start up procedures and ground services like pushback etc.  How to communicate with ATC  how to taxi and taxi assistance with follow me cars etc.

Lets say for example that you are seated in the cockpit of a 747 parked at a ramp at an airport of your choice and you want to go to a certain destination but you haven't got a clue how to configure the aircraft for take off what settings to use or what to program, in which case the instructors voice will guide you step be step what to do first which buttons to push which knobs to turn flap settings how to use the autopilot how to program the fms how to enter ils frequencies...of course most of us already know all this...but like I  said this is aimed for the absolute beginner.

And then...during all phases of flight like take off in flight  approach and landing...the instructor is with you at all times giving you instructions on what to do next, and correcting you if you did something wrong.  Just like having a real flight instructor sitting next to you...that would be awesome!...with also the option to turn the instructor off when you feel confident enough to operate and fly on your own...but with the flight instructor option always available when needed...then when you turn it back in he or she will tell you if you are doing everything correctly or if there are things to be adjusted.

About ATC...first off...please developers...no awful robotic voices!...we have had our share of those in fsx and also x plane.  I read somewhere that it looks like Microsoft/Asobo are going to use a new speech technology that exactly resembles human voices...I can't remember right now the name...but I looked it up and it sounds awesome!...needless to add to this wish is generic atc pertaining to the region and country.   To put it short...realistic etc...and we all know that they are capable of doing this because they have the technology.

About camera systems and recording:

Different default camera systems within the simulation to  make movies and record flights.  Would love to have something that simulated Track IR or EZdok Camera for within the cockpit...at least good enaugh that you don't need to buy third party software.   Also different camera modes  to make spotting videos on the airport with the possibility to position these cameras realistically at different positions at the airport.   From what I have seen in the update clips and also the screenshots this all seems to be already included...but still not to sure if people are using third party addons to to this.

Would be nice to have animated pilots in the cockpit...I know that in some planes they can be seen from the outside...but would be nice if also from the inside.  And if possible like for example if you're going to touch the altitude knob to change the altitude then you would see the pilots hand actually turning the knob!...now that would be epic!...or  at the very least and animated hand doing it!...

You might think that all this is too far fetched...but I know that you all have the technology to do this...but the real question is are you actually going to implement it...it would certainly add to the realistic immersion!...and still if this is too much to ask...at the very least no empty cockpits anymore please...at the very least a  copilots voice sitting next to you and realistically communicating with you...no more lonely empty and lifeless cockpits...and yes I know there is plenty of add-on software out there that simulate all this...but would be nice to have all this by default included.

Some examples:

And last, but definitely not least:

Scenery.

From what we have seen so far this simulation is blowing all the competition right out of the water, meaning that scenery wise its nothing short of mind-blowing!...nevertheless I really hope that attention is also given to more remote areas of the planet..areas that are not "popular and marketable" if you know what I mean.   Even though I am pretty sure that any area of the world by default alone will look a thousand times better then any default area in the current simulators.  Because lets face it...wheter its Fsx  X plane  or PreparD...you need a ton of addons, which also means a ton of cash to make them look half way decent...and by the look of things the new sim will have all these addons or a combination thereof already included by default...even way way better looking too!...

The default water also looks good...but please developers could you please give extra attention to beach shores waves and coral and tropical reefs...would be a dream come true for those amongst us (me included) who love the occasional vfr flying!...woud be also a nice touch to add some fish that you can see swimming in shallow waters!

Flying over this would be heaven!

And don't forget!...all kinds of aircraft by default...as detailed as possible!...and another nice touch would be passengers in the airplanes...and also each aircraft with the possibility of realistic wing views with windows that are not to clean...like with dirt specs to add to the realism!

Asobo, please note the height of trees on that first island. 🏝️

Animated pilots, yes sure hand and fingers animations for all knobs locations of all aircraft.

It doesn't make sense and It Is un-practical, a moving pilot in a cockpit would interfere with your view. Linking the view to the pilot head would be very odd.

Digital voices now a days sound more human with dynamic semitones, so expect to have nice voices.
