Problem with Lorby Flashlight

Featured Replies

On a different subject, I keep seeing an error each time I load your Flashlight. It loads then says, 'LorbyFlashlight has stopped working' ......................if a solution is available'.

Any ideas what's flagging that up, Oliver? Is it because I have FSLabs Spotlights running for the FSL aircraft I have, as well?

Hello Rick,

what simulator are you using? And what version of the Flashlight?

"Stopped working" is never good, but I doubt that it has something to do with Spotlights. Are there any logfiles in C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\Lorby Flashlight? An entry in the Windows Event Log?

If you want, send me an email, address is on the last page of the manual.

Best regards

Thanks for that very prompt response.👍

P3Dv4.5 and version 1_02_b02.

Just looked in AppData\Local\..........no log files except a Hotkey Configuration file that is totally empty.

Okay, thanks, will do later as right now in the middle of a long KLM longhaul

No rush, I am just starting a long haul too (hopefully), first waypoint is BATH, then on to MYBED...

Please make sure to check the Windows Event Log right after the app stops working. Did it always do that, or did this start with the new version? Make sure that you have .Net 4.8 up to date.

Best regards

Classic Route well travelled by many🤣

Was working flawlessly until a few days ago, when I had to re-install P3Dv4.5. Will check. Thanks
