Not Sure Which Sim It Is

Featured Replies

Purchased the B737-200 from MilViz. Not sure if it was for FSX or for P3D as the installer shows me an option for P3Dv2, but cannot get it to show up in P3Dv4.5.

Where am I going wrong, and down to get to my MilViz account to re-download?

Thanks.

Many thanks for that very, very prompt response.

I think I bought the B737-200 way back in 2013 from FlightSimStore, who as we all know, vanished. I am not exactly 100% sure if I Upgraded to P3D, which version because I have the B55 installing in P3Dv4 no problem, as I think I bought that, and the 310R from simMarket.

But will do as you suggest.

Okay, I managed to elicit that I bought it from Flight1 and got the latest installer for it from them and have successfully installed the aircraft in P3Dv4.5. Only snag, I cannot install any liveries that I have in a Livery Pack 1 I downloaded.Cannot locate the aircraft.cfg to manually install nor do I see a Livery Installer anywhere. Please help.

Thank you.

EDIT: Disregard please. Figured it.

Ooops, thought I had as I found the aircraft.cfg file and did the necessary but the Livery still does not show.

Do I go there for the fact that the MilViz B737-200C causes P3Dv4 CTDs but not the B55 Baron?

If you're trying to use the WX in anything other than 4.5 or less, the answer is yes, it will CTD...  If you're trying to use the SP177, that won't work at all anymore in anything except fsx (and in a really old installer, since removed).

The B55...  dunno mate.

You'll have to get on the support forums.

Did not even get to the WX, which I chose not to install, and yes, running the latest P3D v4.5.P3D did not even get off the ground so there is no way I even got to choosing the SP177, unless a Livery that I got here at Avsim that did have an SP177 panel in it's .cfg file was the root cause?

Just about to compose an email with the questionnaire I just filled to the above person

I tried to load the Braathens and that's when P3D CTD, so in a way soon figured it had nothing to do with that SP177-panelled Avsim Library-downloaded Livery.

Just submitted email to the above c/w Order Number form Flight1
