May 9, 20206 yr Hi Folks, OK, so there have been lots of good deals around what with Covid-19 and the generosity of developers and shops. The IRIS Simulations offer in particular was really good, all planes for free. That said mostly are fairly older releases not catering for an x64 P3D, nothing like a challange though and I'm happy to say I've the Jabiru 160~170, Venture MG.1, CT-4F Akala and the Grobs all working just fine in P3Dv4.5 HF3 and all with working sound and installed totally via the XML add-on method. Getting sound working when installed via the xml method was the most problematic. Doug Dawson's latest x64 sound gauge, a Panel.cfg mod, sound.ini mods as well as a custom folders for the specfic sounds referenced by the x64 DD gauge was what it took to get all working, more of a new gauge and sounds location restructure really. Nice freebees and fun to both get working and flying around. The Jabiru @ 11S The Grob off the coast of 11S The Grob and AI shipping, the yellow inflatable is a shadow from Greenpeace. Just an AI Shipping container carrier, if you don'e have AI shipping you should get it, brings the waterways to life with around 1100 AI ships. The CT-4F Akala @ 1S2 The Venture MG.1 also @ 1S2 (it's a weird powered glider) Cheers Ryzen 5800X clocked to 4.7 Ghz (SMT off), 32 GB ram, Samsung 1 x 1 TB NVMe 970, 2 x 1 TB SSD 850 Pro raided, Asus Tuf 3080Ti P3D 4.5.14, Orbx Global, Vector and more, lotsa planes too.
