Saving template

Featured Replies

Hi Oliver,

I am using your freeware 'axis and ohs' latest version (1.10 on P3dv5) and have found it very useful thanks.

But not sure if this is normal behaviour...when trying to save/over-write a saved template that I have edited a pop-up always asks me to enter a new name for the template...if I enter the same name as the one I want to save/over-write it will ask me 'do I want to over-write the existing template'...should it not just automatically over-write the template I have selected to update?

Secondly...when I try to change a control axis (say for example a throttle lever) by double clicking on the box for the existing axis...the dialogue appears as expected but I am unable to select a new axis. I have to delete the existing axis and start the procedure from scratch for that lever!

Let me know what you think is going on...ie normal behaviour or possible bug.

Keep up the good work...

Regards Russ.

Hello Russ,

the first one seems to be an artifact from a previous bugfix. I will look into it.

The second one is as designed - the doubleclick will only let you change the controller and some parameters, not the assigned simulator axis.

Best regards

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for getting back to me...the first issue is not a biggy just an inconvenience really, hope it can be fixed all the same! And thanks for verifying the second issue!

I have to say...it is great being able to set up my saitek throttles with  reverse thrust in a more realistic fashion although I have had to make a small modification to them using rubber bands as an idle detent position thus preventing moving the levers to far...works a charm.

Regards Russ.
