May 21, 20206 yr Hi I'm using Linda to set the controls of my Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls Yoke. With the most common aircraft for example PMDG I downloaded the default module files type 737 and I managed to obtain a satisfactory setting that works perfectly. Today I tried to set the commands for the Carenado FA50EX using the default Fsx library, however the commands do not work correctly. For example If I want to turn on the lights I move the lever the command is sent and received by the plane but does not remain active, I also found the same problem with other Carenado aircraft. Is there a solution to solve the problem? Thanks Gabriele I'm using LINDA v 3.1.1.854 - Carenado FA50 - Prepar3d v 4.5 Edited May 21, 20206 yr by kobru79
May 22, 20206 yr I don't have FA50, but from my experience with PC12, Carenado has it's own Lvar for most it's functions, and it's even more complex than that. For example, There are different Lvar for animate the button been pushed, the function been select, and the conflict function been deselect (like select VS would cancal ALT HOLD)... so it's very painful to make things work even with detected or list of lvar....
May 22, 20206 yr The previous reply is correct. More sophisticated aircraft like PMDG, FSLabs and Aerosoft do not always use the default FSX controls and offsets. These require their own specific LINDA modules to work. I suspect the Carenado FA50 falls into that category. We only develop new modules where there is an obvious demand or are of personal interest. There are no plans for a new FA50 module.
