I posted this on the ORBX forum, but I get no responses concerning it. Someone may eventually respond, but in the meantime, I thought I'd run it past members of this great forum.

Recently, I've been getting this error when I start P3dV5.....FTXZZ_OLC_FixedAPT  and it reference Global LC North America.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled LC North America several times, and put it in both a separate library outside the sim and also within the sim.  I can't get rid of it.  What happened to that file?  I would like to delete LC North America completely and reinstall it from scratch if that were possible (like a brand new purchase from Orbx without having to pay for it twice).  Then I'd like to reinstall it like it was the first time.  Maybe the file wouldn't be missing. 

It shows in Lorby as a pink fluorescent line while all the others are green.

Cannot figure out why this happened.  Any ideas for help, please?

I assume you mean P3DV5 HF1...

It sounds like you are missing the actual files that go into the folder "YourDrive:\Orbx Library\p3dv5\Global openLC North America\ORBX\FTX_OLC\FTX_VECTOR_FixedAPT\Scenery"

Here's what I have:

Not sure what to tell you other than two possible solutions:

1.  Open Orbx Central, go to Open Landclass North America and click verify files.

2. If that doesn't work, then click UNINSTALL, then Reinstall.

I am surprised no one helped over at Orbx. Maybe because it's the weekend...possibly Monday, Nick or Doug will jump in and help you.

 

It looks like the answer to the Orbx topic was posted just over three hours after the topic was posted.

Yes.  Nick from Orbx got back to me and said that that file was a part of Vector for V5 that should be deleted.  

I told him that I wish I knew that before I did all this deleting and reinstalling that I did today to try to figure out where that file was.  

He said....just DELETE it!

Yeah.  I did all that for hours today.  But see my response that I just posted above.  Nick from ORBX says it's not needed for Vector V5.
