Launcher v2.7.0.0 - GTN and GPS Trainer Updates

Launcher v2.5.0.0 - Introduces the new GNC 355/355A as part of the GPS Trainer v3.02.0

GNC 355/355A combines the functionality of the GPS 175 with a TSO-C169a compliant VHF radio communications transceiver. The GNC 355 supports 25 kHz channel spacing, while the GNC 355A provides tuning for both 25 kHz and 8.33 khz channels.

Other updates for Launcher v2.5.0.0 include:
  • Databases package updated to include FliteCharts for all of North America
  • GPS 175/GNC 375 Pilot's Guide updated to include GNC 355/355A
  • Required Trainer update to TXi and GDU 620 for GNC 355 support.

Launcher v2.4.0.0 - Introduces the new GPS 175 and GNX 375 navigators, TXi v3.01 with Turboprop support, GTN v6.62, and GDU 620 v7.37

NOTE: GTN, TXi, and GDU 620 Trainer configurations will be reset. This change is permanent once update is complete. 
This may affect changes made to the trainer while they are powered on, including:
  • Ownship location
  • Pilot profiles
  • User waypoints

If these changes need to be saved, please defer update until they are no longer required. Updates can be also be installed later from the About page.

    • Take advantage of WAAS GPS navigation with LPV approaches, which offer minimums as low as 200’ to greatly expand your operational capability

      • Garmin SafeTaxi – view detailed airport information on the moving map

    • Bug: Trainers do not power on completely if the current user's Windows profile path contains a space. 
      Fixed: No user action is required.

      Fixed: A full reinstall may be required to change the path in the installer.
    • Bug: Startup crashes or black screen on startup. 
      Fixed: No user action is required.
