Question about ASN manual vs live wx
zazaboeing replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumIt was so easy to set a specific weather manually and have it everywhere you go, not bothering with unexpected changes. You could just have the same weather in every scenery while testing different sceneries and aircrafts for example.

Question about ASN manual vs live wx
zazaboeing replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumYes, just noticed that! Now I have hundreds of wxr points plotted  Do you think you can implement this feature in the future, Kostas? Is it difficult? Thanks again for the fast answer!

zazaboeing replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumSorry, just now I realized the topic was about ASN, sorry about that! It's really sad that AS16 doesn't support that.

zazaboeing replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHi Kostas, I was talking about AS 2016, I can't see how to apply it globally. And that's the function I use most.

zazaboeing replied to a post in a topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumHi, how do I increase the range to Global? Mine is limiting to 1000nm but I want the weather to be the same everywhere. How is it done? Thanks!

Installing in a new system and ...
Hi, I am moving to a new PC and with FSX SE installed, I've downloaded the latest versions of my NGX purchases and after installing it, the plane acts weird (full right aileron stucked). Then, I've realized the Options Menu is missing, and all my DLLs (except the HUD interface one) are not on the PMDG folder. Tried everything to reinstall again: safe mode, running in administrator mode, disabing antivirus and firewall, etc ... to no avail. Please, help! Thanks!

Is there a changelog for SP1D somewhere? Thanks!

Circling rwy 36 vpt LFLB
You can still takeoff IF the forecasted weather (TAF) for your ETA is above minimums and you fill a second alternate airport. This varies country to country's regulations.

That's why I was expecting some answer like "added to the list". Thanks anyway.

G1000 user waypoint and map panning
No support here?

Circling rwy 36 vpt LFLB
You must fly on track 135 for 2.6nm, considering you're category C , which will be waypoint B, and then track 176 for the downind for 2.2 nm. I dont know if you have those waypoints on your Navdata ,and if don't, it will really be trick to add them, as the PMDG MCDU doesn't allow you to create user waypoints based on user waypoints. And thats what we should do in RW. That could be a nicely LNAV flown approach.

I'm NOT a P3d user yet, but, being honest, that feels so much as an excuse. Sad to read that.

G1000 user waypoint and map panning
Hi all, starting a new support (more a request) thread here: - Using the G1000, when panning the map, the cursor moves TRUE and not MAGNETIC oriented. This means if you are flying in a region with 20 deg of magnetic declination for example, the cursor will pan offset 20 degrees, in all pan direction. If you are flying over an agonic line, the cursor will move like it should, following the arrows.(0 deg offset) It's a pain creating user waypoints this way. - Also, when panning, with the cursor offset from the aircraft, when you zoom in, or out (range increase or decrease), the map should center to the CURSOR instead of the PLANE, this is very helpful when reviewing a route and/or adding user waypoints. This would be a top request from me, please add it to some update list if possible! -Tried the VNAV feature and it's a beauty! The VNAV path pointer (magenta point like a Glide Slope) is not moving downwards, buy maybe I've messed with something, even without the motion of the pointer, the plane is descending accordingly! Very good to have that! Best regards,

G1000 frame rate problems
That's great to hear that!! Selling to a lot of Rafael"s" lately means sales are good uh!? I've done some intensive testing now, points to add: - If using backup display (pushing that red button, turning MFD into a PFD) it significantly increases fsx performance to an acceptable level. - Some crashes while adding User Waypoints and panning maps. After a "Abort/Retry/Cancel" (if I recall correctly), it halts the sim. Sim is FSX with only Ezdok running in background and Fsuipc. Maybe is it aircraft related? I've tested only in the Baron and C172 that comes with the pack. Regards,

DataFields in NAV Mode, viewing Map
Of course I (and for sure the whole FS community) appreciate that!!! The market on gauges is in shortage of developments, and we DO need those garmins units support and better avionics for FS since some old companies abandoned the ship. So many planes and add-ons are in the need of some good G1000 and the 530/430 stack! I do really believe that WAAS and other implementations will be a good reason for better and better sales, and despite what you may think, I am really willing to invest my money on that avionics and supporting your company. I wouldn't ask for a refund on my G1000 purchase with my poor frames, because it is, in my belief, a liiiiiittle investment in a company with future and mainly, with SUPPORT. Best regards, and good sales, always!

DataFields in NAV Mode, viewing Map
Nobody is rant-n-raving anything here Mr. Wilson, we're just asking about a feature and I was giving my opinion on it. Simple as that. The response on the other thread is there now.

G1000 frame rate problems
No multiple monitors, nor database apps expect for Ezdok.mothing else. You should better check your database then: Receipt for your Mindstar Aviation purchase. Invoice Number: 2004145 Monday, November 10, 2014 6:51:11 PM

DataFields in NAV Mode, viewing Map
Of course it's an essential feature of the GNS! First thing you want to do in a real world unit is configure the data fields the way you prefer it to be. Default is just NOT OK for every pilot's preference I've flown with. I would set Bearing / Track / Distance and ETE in the Map page (with data fields on) and Desired Track, Waypoint Name, GS, and ETA on the other page. It's a must have for me and NO BUY until it's implemented feature.

G1000 frame rate problems
Hi, Just bought and installed the G1000 avionics and it's great how it really simulates the real unit buuut ... it brought my system down to its knees, like no other add-on ever did. It must be something wrong, I'm running with a decent set up, but flying with this gauges is simply impossible. Rates are around 6,7 fps. Tested with default Baron and 172. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to choose simpler configurations/graphics ? Thank you, Rafael
