June 15, 20205 yr I switched over to x-plane from P3D, and recently discovered MCE also has an x-plane version. Having an MCE license, my question is, does this also work on the x-plane version? Couldn't find the answer to this anywhere.... Thanks in advance. MaVe Creations - FSLTL - Free AI sounds - Giving your airports more atmosphere! www.mavecreations.weebly.com

No, that's pushing the boundaries.🙂 Let's not forget, we could have inundated the market with 50 separate products. MCE for this plane, MCE for that other plane etc.. We chose not to. We already support 44 complex planes (not counting default or small fish like Carenado or A2A planes) across Prepar3D, FSX and FS9. Developing for X-Plane is completely different from the Microsoft based flight sims. This is why the competition can't follow.😛 Although we keep a similar user interface because users are already familiar with it, It's not just a port. Planes don't come with SDKs and you have to work out how to interface each one of them, the hard way. Therefore, MCE for X-Plane requires a separate purchase and different license. But you will be pleases to know, not only it does support XP-11 & 10, and 23 complex aircraft so far (including all the most popular ones) just like we've been doing with Ultimate edition for a decade, we will try to interface as many planes as possible, without charging a dime. And it will very likely support the next X-Plane version (I doubt Laminar will create a new sim from scratch). Basically, one product for each simulator platform to cater for all your voice control needs. For instance, since we don't expect MSFS to be a radical departure from FSX, unless they charge us royalties and such, the plan is to extend Ultimate Edition support for that sim at no cost to users. We only charge for genuine work. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
June 15, 20205 yr Author As i'm going to MSFS anyway it's better for me to wait then. That would be really great if there's no extra cost for the MSFS version! Thanks for your quick reply. MaVe Creations - FSLTL - Free AI sounds - Giving your airports more atmosphere! www.mavecreations.weebly.com
