I use Defender and what you are receiving is a false positive. You may not need to turn Defender off. It has been a while since I last got that warning so I am trying to recall what it is you can click on in that warning box to get the option to download and install anyway. It may be something like "see details". Just look for a clickable bit of text in that warning and click on it.
