July 30, 20205 yr Sorry to hear the problem continues. The only other thing that comes to mind is that sometimes bits and pieces of a program that is not "completely uninstalled" previously will remain in the registry and will cause problems with a reinstall and the program will not work. The solution requires, of course, cleaning out the registry of all references to FS9 (with all of those inherent risks of registry editing) and attempting a fresh reinstall of FS9.
July 30, 20205 yr Author That's probably what it is, but btw I'm doing this for my dad,who is a Cheif pilot, and he just said "there's always FSX" soooooo... it would probably work after using regedit, but if he doesn't want to back his computer up and all that, then I guess not :l I guess this can be a string for anyone who went through all this LUL 😉
