With live weather, it seems that changes are abrupt and not fluid, but correct me if I am wrong. What I wonder is whether changes dynamically over time. For instance, if you start sunny with clear skies, could it changes to overcast or even rain (eg when entering mountainous area). In addition, does snow accumulate?

Yes, AFAIK, with "live weather", and I think it's meant to be a smooth transition. I imagine preset weather stays the same and doesn't change. Matthew S
