HI AGAINHERE ARE A COPY OF MY COMPUTORS SPECS SCANNED FROM MY OWNERS MANUAL.ARE THESE SPECS OK FOR FSX OR DO I NEED TO UPGRADE THEM. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME THEN PLEASE DO AS I STILL HAVE GRAPHICS PROBLEMS AND DONT UNDERSTAND THE SPECS.THANKS MIKEMemory type - PC133 SDRAMMemory capacities - 128-256 OR 512MBMinimum Memory - 128MBMaximum Memory - 1GBVideo Controller - intel intergrated AGP graphicsthats all i can seem to find out thanks again for any help. MIKE

Fix your caps lock button. All caps is shouting.

And nothing attached?Mikey, will you stop posting to a new thread everytime. The threads dont'stay close together and I for one won't be bothered to go hunting around to help you solve your problem if its spread all over the forums. Put it in ONE thread, in the HARDWARE forum, and seek help there.Allcott

Mike seems to me like he might be a very young man, or new to FS, forums, and/or computers. I wouldn't be to hard on him until I found out. We were all there once upon a time.Bob (Las Cruces, NM)

FSX does not downgrade depending on the age of the user, so what ever gives you reason to believe the support should? And if you check the hardware forum, you will find he cross-posted and the specs were there. Which is where I answered. This thread is completely irrelevant. You might want to check these things out for yourself before trying to impose your value judgements on others, Bob.Allcott

And the specs aren't exactly the same in both posts.EDIT: Bob,I suggest you review his previous posts. He's made the same post (A BIG GRAPHICS PROBLEM with pics to show) 4 times: each time with the picture attached as a .txt file, despite being told how to attach it as a .jpg

Allcott...First note that my repsonse was not directed to you.Second, I was not aware that he had posted this message in the hardware forum, and you had answered it quite nicely. I can understand your frustration.I don't believe I can't reasonably be expected to know where every message has been previously posted in all of the forums. But had I known that I would not have made any message post. He just appeared on first blush to be some nieve kid, who was totally out of his league, based on the content of his message.Enough on this matter....Bob (Las Cruces, NM)Edit: MGH: Understood. Please note that when I made my post, no mention had been made at that point in the messages that it was posted somewhere else, or that there were other problems with him.

>>Memory type - PC133 SDRAM>Memory capacities - 128-256 OR 512MB>Minimum Memory - 128MB>Maximum Memory - 1GB>Video Controller - intel intergrated AGP graphics>These specs are completely inadequate to run FSX.Memory speed makes a difference. Get a motherboard that supports 800Mhz DDR Ram, or 533 minimmum. 133 SDRAM is years old.2G of main memory will give you more room. The CPU should be at least 3Ghz. Multicore gives some benefit.Integrated graphics will never give you good performance. A high-end DX9 card is best since that will likely come with 512m. A mid-range card is next best. Avoid low-end cards like the plague since they are a compromise at best.Net-Net - you need a new machine.
