Default Avionics

Featured Replies

So, seeing the videos and such I assume it is Garmin avionics in the GA aircraft? Also assume with the navdata provider that comes with the sim it will be updated every 28 days? If both are yes, can anyone recommend a good place to learn how to operate the system online? As a long time Airbus and Boeing guy, getting into GA for a few months until the big birds are ready will be refreshing but want to learn the systems first. Thanks

there are official trainers you can download from Garmin which are free. I have them for GNS / GTN series, I think they have the G1000 trainer listed there as well.

and GA is not so much about avionics systems, learn proper rudder usage instead, and basic procedures.

I for the rudder thing down, thanks. But if I in IMC or want to shoot an ILS, would be helpful to know how to work the glass.
