August 14, 20205 yr Has there been any info / videos shared on the performance impact of AA (particularly as other sims struggled if cloud coverage density increased)? Also any word on whether DLSS rendering has been put forward by Asobo? Cheers and thanks Edit: Does look like TAA is supported which is good Edited August 14, 20205 yr by DylanM
August 14, 20205 yr According to this video, FXAA and DLAA provide a minimal visual improvement, though with a minimal performance hit as well. TAA provides much better anti-aliasing with a slightly higher performance cost, but it is worth keeping it on while sacrificing some other quality setting to maintain performance. Nothing is known about DLSS so far, but there is always the chance that it can be added in a future update. I have the feeling they might be waiting for the DirectX 12 upgrade first, in order to add a vendor-agnostic AI upscaling solution. It is rumoured that AMD are working on something that will work through DirectML.
