No support for Thrustmaster USB Joystick?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought Flight Simulator (2020) this morning and I wanted to play it with the USB stick I have. I've played FSX with this stick too. It is regarding https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/usbjoystick-en/

When I go to the control settings, I see that the stick is listed as "USB Game Controllers" but I cannot assign controls to it (see screenshot here https://prnt.sc/u1ktp2). Any suggestions?

Yeah... ask again in the MSFS 2020 forum where someone might have some idea.

You have to manually bind every button and the stick. I have the same problem with Saitek Evo. It takes time to figure every binding.

Did that. Apparently a moderator moved my topic here.

How? The settings window isn't letting me bind any button (see screenshot in original post)

Same here with a Logitech Force 3D Pro.

How did you manually bind these? I did see no option for that

Hardware discussions should be done in the Hardware forums.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

It might be a bug for what I can tell. I just took out all other controllers and restarted the game. When I clicked the controller that's left (the stick that doesn't work), the bindings appear for a second and then they all disappear like in the screenshot.

i just found out that you have to select ALL in the filter section on the left, then you see all the possibilities and can assign them

And MSFS has a unique set of problems with hardware and either needs to be addressed in the MSFS forum or in a subforum under MSFS.

While you're moving threads, keep in mind that CH Products is hardware as well.
