October 26, 200619 yr >Anyone decided to return FS-X , seems MS offers a full refund>within 45 days?>>http://www.microsoft.com/mscorp/productrefund/refund.asp>>I think this says it all......"subject to that retailer's return policy"
October 26, 200619 yr >I think this says it all...>>..."subject to that retailer's return policy">>Ah-hem! Still half-alseep? Haven't had your morning coffee yet? *:-*"You can easily return any Microsoft retail product* to the retailer from which you purchased it, subject to that retailer's return policy."Then it goes on to explain how to return products that are eligible for a refund directly to MS regardless of 'that retailer's return policy'.If you read on, it seems that MS is even willing to pay for the shipping.
October 26, 200619 yr People always complain about Microsft's support. But how many companies do you see that do that....Anway I am keeping my copy, eventually with the right system FSX will offer better performance...For now I just use it for casual flying...
October 26, 200619 yr That site is headed "Microsoft North American Retail Product Refund Guidelines".Anyone know what's the situation in the rest of the world? Gerry Howard
October 27, 200619 yr Author We might have a collectors item, some one posted a "FS-X Recalled" thread.Microsoft's US/Canada return policy is 2nd to none.I hope they learn from the FS-X comments being made. With the new dual core SLI systems available today, no excuse for the often very poor frames rates in FS-X. Not to mention the glaring bugs like listing a Red Gold C172 that does not exist. Even those of us that choose to keep it should be offered a rebate.
