August 19, 20205 yr Anyone considering buying disks for premium addition - reasons not to purchase disks ? DVD player doesnt reside in my new build coming but just connect it for install and then remove easy stuff As in past I've reinstalled fresh and really dont want to go thru 3 hour download every time a reinstall is in order - thoughts ? August 19, 20205 yr Is the pain of downloading 150gb more than the pain of removing and inserting 12 discs? One of those things you can click once and come back later, the other requires constant supervision.

Not sure it would take 3 hours to use the DVD method also reading a bit you can only purchase them if your in Europe ? Rich Sennett

Yeah that's also true as far as I know. I also very biased against having a bunch of CDs lying around as I make it a point to not collect tons of things but I can see the appeal of it. It's actually weird to think I haven't installed anything with a CD in like 5 to 10 years.

My understanding is that if you're in the USA you cannot purchase disks at the present time, not licensed to distribute them here that way.
