A great sim!!!

Hi folks,

I can´t believe what some people think about the new simulator. This is a great product out of the box. It took a little while to setup the controllers and to understand the way the sim works, but now I am absolutely impressed. I took off from Frankfurt, Cape Town, Tokio, Moscow with the Cessna. What an experience!! The weather, the clouds, the lighting, the whole world to discover, no tweaking necessary on a modern pc, the default Cessna is simply fun. I´ve spent 100s or even 1000s on add-ons ever since I started flight-simming in 2005. I am completely excited! Even the cars drive on the left lane in South Africa!!

The sim has so much potential. Never thought I´d ever see something like this. How much pain it was in the other sims to produce the atmosphere that MSFS 2020 has out of the box. Of course it takes getting used to the menus and the overall feel of the sim, but it´s completely stunning. After flying just for a couple of ours I can´t think of where to go next. This is great work, Asobo and Microsoft!!!! Thank you very much!!

Regards,

Ingo

I flew over my town in a Cub. It was breathtaking. It felt as close to real life as possible while still looking at a monitor. Unless you have legitimate technical issues and bugs, if you are rage quiting the sim, you have lost the joy of flight and are too down in the weeds with procedures and button pushing.
