  1. Thanks, but I´m not having any trouble at all flying outside of Europe. And PBE is running great, too. But I ran the repair tool, anyway. Maybe it did solve any additonal problems I might have had. Ingo
  2. Hello, the problem wasn´t PBE, but the changes that are being made in MSFS 2020 in the background. As I´ve read in many forums, more CTDs are happening across Europe, probably due to the upcoming update on Tuesday. Took me a while to find out. If I fly outside of Europe, there is no crash to desktop. The crashes seem to be related to the BING data format being changed. Thanks for your help anyhow! Ingo
  3. Good evening! MSFS crashes after 10 minutes in the game. I copied the error log: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC000014B): Exception from HRESULT: 0xC000014B at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo) at Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.SimConnect.ReceiveDispatch(SignalProcDelegate pfcnSignal) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4300.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- Pushback Express_x64 Assembly Version: 1.7.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.7.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Pushback%20Express%20MSFS/Pushback%20Express_x64.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4270.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4300.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4190.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_B CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4320.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4084.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect Assembly Version: 11.0.62651.3 Win32 Version: CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Pushback%20Express%20MSFS/Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.DLL ---------------------------------------- irrKlang.NET4 Assembly Version: 1.0.6617.18847 Win32 Version: CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Pushback%20Express%20MSFS/irrKlang.NET4.DLL ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. 4. Hey gents, first of all I‘d like to thank you all for your very detailed answers. That’s what I really like about this community. But I didn‘t want this to end up in some sort of uneasy conversation. I wish I had all the experience you guys have. Otherwise I wouldn’t be asking silly questions. Now back to flightsimming: As it seems, the flightmodel in MSFS2020 isn‘t that bad after all. It makes sense, that you have to force the nose down a little during takeoff and landing. I just wanted to know, if it‘s realistic or not. If you’ve never flown an Airliner IRL, then that’s what you ask yourself sitting in front of your desk with a VR-headset on your head and trying to find the controls without seeing them. 😜 I‘m glad that no one sees me like that! Ingo
  5. Well, two different answers. 😂 But I have to admit that Rick´s answer is plausible. Thanks for your time! Ingo
  6. Hi folks, I have a short question to real pilots: During take off and after landing I have to push the joystick in the FBW Airbus forward to keep the aircraft on the ground and to be able to stabilize the aircraft by using the pedals. Does it work that way in real life, too? Thanks for your answers. Ingo
  7. Hi, after the latest patch MSFS 2020 now supports the TCA quadrant (except the engine start switches), but I´m having problems setting the engines to idle. After calibrating the axis, there´s always about 15 to 20 per cent thrust left in the idle position.Has anyone been able to calibrate the thottle correctly? Cheers, Ingo
  8. The information also belongs here, because this is the most active forum. I probably will visit the ORBX forum as well, but I wanted to share my disappointment. It seems to be a common problem right now. Developers want to publish their products too fast instead of taking more time to get it right.
  9. Hmmm, that´s strange. I only get 15 fps with Kos installed, 30 without it.
  10. After the disappointing London scenery I bought KOS today. Eventhough it´s a very small airport it cuts my framerates in half. Reinstalled it twice to be sure it´s the add-on. Now I ended up unstalling it for good because it only causes trouble. Dear ORBX team, please do some testing before you publish a new product. This makes no sense and ruines your good reputation. I won´t be buying any more add-ons, because I have the feeling that developers aren´t using the proper techniques to make things look good and work in FS 2020, yet.
  11. Thanks, of course you‘re right. I was afraid it was just my copy that‘s messed up.
  12. Hi, the sim crashes when I try to load a flight starting in Reykjavik. Can you? Thanks! Ingo
  13. Hi folks, I can´t believe what some people think about the new simulator. This is a great product out of the box. It took a little while to setup the controllers and to understand the way the sim works, but now I am absolutely impressed. I took off from Frankfurt, Cape Town, Tokio, Moscow with the Cessna. What an experience!! The weather, the clouds, the lighting, the whole world to discover, no tweaking necessary on a modern pc, the default Cessna is simply fun. I´ve spent 100s or even 1000s on add-ons ever since I started flight-simming in 2005. I am completely excited! Even the cars drive on the left lane in South Africa!! The sim has so much potential. Never thought I´d ever see something like this. How much pain it was in the other sims to produce the atmosphere that MSFS 2020 has out of the box. Of course it takes getting used to the menus and the overall feel of the sim, but it´s completely stunning. After flying just for a couple of ours I can´t think of where to go next. This is great work, Asobo and Microsoft!!!! Thank you very much!! Regards, Ingo
  14. Thanks a lot for the quick answer, Ephedrin!
  15. First of all I would like to say how impressed I am by our new sim. Absolutely stunning visual experience!! The great aircraft will follow. Great job, Asobo! Flew over my house today, Now about the topic: TrackIR isn’t working yet. Only the left LED turns green. Is there anything else I have to do except start the TrackIR program?
  16. Dear ******* (boy that sounds weird),I just wanted to express my gratitude. Ever since I bought FSX (and that was right when it was published), I have had problems with disappearing textures. I tried many, many things to get rid of the nasty issue and I always wished there would be a simple solution to the problem. Well, really looks like you found it. Thanks to you, I can enjoy every single flight!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! That

  19. Dear folks at PMDG,thank you very much for another nice addon. Really looking forward to the planned releases this year! You can count on me and my credit card. One little problem appears though after loading the 747 -8i version. The viewpoint in the 3d cockpit is incorrect. It seems that the defined viewpoint of the "old" cockpit is loaded instead. Where do I have to look or which values can I change to sit in the right position?Regards,Ingo
  20. Hi Guthrie, download patch version 1.2 from PMDGs download site and install. That will fix your issues.Ingo
  21. Hi David!Had the same issue after installing SP1 and I was already about to post a thread with screenshots here myself. After restarting FSX though the problem disappeared. Try rebooting your system and see if that changes anything for you. Ingo
