Am I correct, if you buy FS 2020  Standard Edition, it comes  with Only 30 airports? 
 

Do all other FSX airports exist, and the 30 are Just customized and detailed?  

Can somebody clarify this?  It sounds like the Microsoft Flight Model where you have to purchase additional airports/planes etc. 

 

I think this model killed the Flight platform??

I think I was able to find the answer.  They are just detailed..  All other airports that are in bing maps are available.  
 

It appears when you purchase the Xbox subscription for 4.99 mo, can you download and fly the Standard edition?

Anybody do this?

Standard edition comes with 30 hand modeled airports but 37,000 generic airports which is actually far more than FSX which had 24,000 (and of course MSFS are higher quality in general). The 30 hand modeled airports are a bit like when you buy third party addon airports such as Orbx etc., though the quality may vary. 

Yes, you can buy the Xbox gamepass instead and play the standard edition for a monthly fee. Personally I prefer owning it but it depends on your needs. There is no difference between the standard edition on gamepass or owning it.

Yes, with Xbox Game Pass you have the Standard edition

How do you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass?
