Which plane(s) are you flying?  I've noticed this with planes that (excuse my probably poor use of technical terms) crossfeed fuel - I love flying the G36,

I fly the C 152 and C172. I am not familiar with the G36.

For you then disregard my statement.  I believe both of those Cessna's allow for fuel to be used from both sides simultaneously.  the G36 threw me for a loop (TBM 930 may do it as well) - definitely something to be aware of.

You may be 100% right zihmer. I learned to fly and got my part 61 ticket in 150's, 152's and 172's, but it's been a few years. I don't remember that being an issue in those planes so i never thought about it in the sim.

I was flying Pittsburgh to Niagara Falls in the G36.  Take off, climb, get to altitude, and I can't keep the darn thing from a moderate roll.  I'm looking at all kinds of things.  Finally, i'm on the MFD, and like "oh yeah, those fuel levels are not even remotely equal".  Restarted - and I kept flipping the lever back and forth every few minutes.  Not sure what you do when actually flying, but that's my solution.
