Two Headsets?

Featured Replies

Mods if this belongs somewhere else, I apologize - please feel free to yell at me and move it 🙂

My daughter and I like to fly together.  To give it an element of further realness (and to keep audio levels down in the house with a sleeping baby), I would love for us to both wear headsets, use the audio mode where cabin noise is simulated lower, and comms are louder, and where she and I can talk to each other.

I am assuming this functionality is not necessarily part of FS2020 (I don't need an intercom to work) - but does anyone have any idea on how to have our two headsets hear and talk to each other (preferably with sidetone), plus hear engine noise, and both hear ATC.

If anyone has any suggestions, I will be forever grateful!

I'm currently using an old 3.5mm jack set, but looking to upgrade.  I was hoping that this would be a possibility, and didn't want to buy one kind vs. another just yet.

This is awesome - you are my hero!  I've got enough old equipment lying around that I will give this a whirl, and assuming it works as intended then get an appropriate headset set up for us to fly.
