August 27, 20205 yr "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting." I'm baffled that the SDK for MICROSOFT Flight Simulator is not recognized by Microsoft Windows. I downloaded the SDK by clicking on the appropriate menu from inside the game itself, so it should be the real deal. Anybody else encounter this issue? Of course I can "run anyway", but I just want do so with a clear conscience, LOL. Perhaps it's because I haven't done a Windows Update in awhile that it isn't recognized, or perhaps this is just another oversight that we grow to expect from Microsoft. 🤷♂️ Thoughts?
August 27, 20205 yr Maybe there is so little code in there that "Microsoft Defender Smartscreen" thinks it's a virus? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
