August 27, 20205 yr Every time I hit F9 to pause my trackir so I can zoom in on a certain location in the cockpit after about 5 seconds the sim resets the camera to the forward view. I have been unable to figure out why it keeps doing this. I have rebound my trackir pause key to something different and it still keeps doing it. Is this a bug that anyone else is seeing? August 27, 20205 yr Hi, Yes, i’m facing the same issue. So far, I’ve worked around it by saving the four most important cockpit views for each plane and invoking them via a gamepad. Jack
August 27, 20205 yr A lot of folks with TrackIR have reported this, including me. Best I can say is report it in Zendesk so they have one more report to add to the stack when they do prioritization. 🙂 The saved camera angle suggestion is probably the best workaround for now, that's what I'm doing.

I seem to recall a TrackIR option for automatically re-centring if the camera loses the target, which can be disabled. This might be worth trying. (I don't have MSFS and I don't have TrackIR running, so this is speculative!) MarkH https://www.youtube.com/@AlmostAviation AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / 64Gb DDR5 / Zotac RTX 5070 Ti / 2560 x 1440 display
August 27, 20205 yr Author Yeah I had already tried the saved camera angles as well but it is not that great of an option. Glad I'm not the only one seeing this though so hopefully it will be fixed.
