August 27, 20205 yr I tried some ils landing with autopilot, I was able to select runway inside the GPS, approach, everything, I hit APR when near the airport, it starts following the glideslope and then I take control as soon as I see the runway, in the TBM, 208 and A320. PERFECT But the day after that, I can't get anything to appear in the procedure selection menu inside the GPS. I create a flight plan in the sim or inside the GPS, but when I try to select runway or approach, the buttons don't work, and I have -------- for runway, approach and transition, some buttons do work but I get in another menu showing load and activate, but none of the buttons work. Help, I want to fly IFR again! R5 3600 - GTX 1070OC - 32GB 3200 - NVME - 3440x1440 160Hz - VR(Quest 2) GarbagePoster™
August 27, 20205 yr it's a bit of a mess atm with the gps , it's for sure not 100% and somethings will CTD if you press certain buttons many times under the right circumstances. Edited August 27, 20205 yr by SirDan i7-8600k @ 3.70 GHz 16.0 GB Ram OS Win 10-64 bit Geforce GTX 1070
August 27, 20205 yr @EmaRacing Did I break my GPS? No You didn't, it is half "broken". Happened to me before launch date. Sorry, have no advice! Please report it to the Zendesk. Edited August 27, 20205 yr by RamonB Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
August 27, 20205 yr Author Reported But just to be sure, if you click on PROC when you have a GOTO direct or a flight plan set in the GPS, are you able to click on PROC and select runway or approach? Or do I need to setup something else or request IFR clearance from ATC? I don't remember doing any of this when it worked but late night gaming brain might trick me... August 27, 20205 yr This is one of the oddities of the way GPS is working in the sim right now. If you simply do "direct" and input an airport, the GPS will not lookup the available procedures for that airport. You have to go into the flight plan page and enter at least 2 points, the last being your intended airport. Then it will pull the available procedures up for that airport. Chris

Also in the flight planning menu, when a high altitude airways is selected, I can't select approaches there anymore in the drop down menu, I only have (default, automatic) or something like that.
