August 28, 20205 yr I have two specific problems with this that I need help with. First, the APU does not provide electrical power for more than 5 minutes. Second, I can't get the throttle to advance on the ground. I have to power up the engines by using the Auto Throttle and set it for 10-15 kts. Any help to fix these issues would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
August 28, 20205 yr Welcome to AVSIM. Enjoy your stay I found this review which might be helpful https://www.simflight.com/2010/12/21/review-afs-design-airbus-a330340-family-fsx/ Quote The APU switch just turns the battery on and off. This might explain why you don't have any electrical power for longer than five minutes.. FSX planes have a rather short battery "life" (longer i nreal life I believe) that's why in the add-on control program FSUIPC there is an option to extend battery life by various amounts. If you don't hve that then get those engines fired up quickly, but then again, you MIGHT have to begin your flights with the engines already running... Quote This is a basic model so you are expected to start FSX with the engines on because the proper start-up is not modeled. I don't have the product myself, I'm only quoting what I found out. No idea regarding the throttle issue - do you use keyboard or a throttle peripheral? (Attatched to a joystick maybe) If you use a throttle, then does FSX see the controller?
