First CTD with MSFS - Combase.dll

Flying from Seattle to Portland (C208B) at 10000 ft above covering clouds. CTD started with two or or three sound stuttering then CTD. I know this already from P3D, but have not had any in MSFS since today. AppCrashView has identified Combase.dll as faulty module. Any ideas what this is?
