I bought FSX the day after it came out and I only saw one version on the shelves. I went into Best Buy today and saw that there was another version for $20 more. BUMMER!!! I would have paid the extra bucks if I knew about it before hand. I haven't been following updates on the release of FSX. So...what exactly am I missing since I only got the standard version?

I think in the deluxe version you can be the ATC in multiplayer. thats what i like doing even as a Privat pilot playing this game. you'll pick up the "lingo" alot faster. not to mention you have more planes to choose from. Im glad I got the deluxe.

I was lucky and got the Deluxe version for $49.Maybe you could damage one of the dvd's and then for the holidays your most special family member(s) will give you some money. lol
