FSEconomy Integration

Featured Replies

Any plans to support for FSEconomy? I noticed they have a Nice API with Json Data files. and it would be nice to have that information in your planning tool 😃
I know we are busy with the MSFS2020 release and getting things supported, but I'm referring to after that work is done.

As @Zendorea gave no details, I wouldn't know what there is for LNM to support.

Ofc in general it could be nice to have plugins or custom data sources. But that's a whole different story, I guess.

I have to agree here. I fly FSE and I can't see what LNM could do to integrate with them. But it's still a very good planning tool for your flights as well as helping with planning fuel.

Edit: I actually thought of maybe one thing. There's a third party browser plug-in which helps show us MSFS users which airports we have in the sim versus the ones in FSE (there's many fields MSFS users don't have). I know there's work being done to read the scenery files....would it be possible to get a dump of all the ICAO's in MSFS to get an accurate listing of all the airports for the plug in? It's a great program, but it's still not accurate.

You can save the airports in LNM as a CSV (copy to clipboard in airport search) once the beta with MSFS support is released.

Regarding FSEconomy: I'm very hesitant to add functionality for other programs.
At the end it makes LNM more complex and even more difficult to maintain.

So, this is very unlikely to happen. Sorry.

Thanks for taking the time and considering it.

I would like to help make LNM in any way that i can. I eagerly await full integration with MSFS (Specifically with its NavAid and Scenery Databases).

I have come across a lot of Fixes that are in the updated NaviGraph Database 2009 as compared to the baked in NavAid database in MSFS

@Zendorea The Navdatabase also has limitations. Especially around airways. Also, I cannot read SID and STAR yet since the BGL format is not documented and even the compiler tools do not allow to compile a SID or a STAR. I hope this will get better when the SDK is updated.
Will look at the Navigraph update now.
