TnG at second airfield?

Featured Replies

I’m trying to depart one airport (VFR) and do touch and goes at a second, returning to original departure. Pretty sure I had successfully done this in the past by filing a VFR plan to and from the original departure, but it’s not working currently with P3Dv5. Should this be possible? Thanks in advance Jay! 😀

Sorry, I've been busy playing with MSFS, which alternates between fun 😍 and frustrating🤮.

I 'll check when I get a chance. Did you try VFR local flight and then just fly to the 2nd airport and then do TNGs? If the two airports share the Unicom frequency, it might work.

Thanks Jay.  Totally agree with MSFS - it will be the platform moving forward I think.  Ton of potential and really great performance on my side with a pretty old I7-7700k and GTX1080.

The airports I was trying to use did not share unicom unfortunately.  One was towered the other not.  I could not get Vox to allow me to switch to the second airport tower freq, so it was a no go.  I may just try to do a one-way flight with a few TNGs and a full stop, then file a new plan to return....close enough.
