Livery tool and aircraft selection

Hello,

I have altered aircraft.cfg`s so that aircraft are listed according to their real manufacturers. Simstarter however uses developer A2A, Aerosoft etc. Can this be changed to manufacturer?

FYI I do the same...Did you receive any information on your question?

 

If not, I find an easy way around it is to load a profile in Simstarter using a default plane (I use the AC 11 Commander in Prepar3d v5.1) and make sure that you tick the GUI screen to show in the sim.

 

Once there, I choose my chosen bird for the flight and they all listed by manufacturer. I can then double check all my flight details are correct EG Airport, parking position etc and go from there.

 

One thing I am not sure of is if this slows down loading time as i have a fast system and Prepar3d sure takes a long time...But i do have a lot of planes and scenery installed.

Thanks for an idea, but Simstarter´s idea is just shorten loading times so I´m a bit hesitant to follow your example. And no, I have not heard anything from developer concerning this.
