September 17, 20205 yr Hi, I would like to know if there is a proper sequence to EXIT (shut down the simulator) when you are in flight (e.g. P3D: pause the sim with P and press Ctrl + C to shut it down)? Thanks for response Brgds Juergen Mader
September 17, 20205 yr Double post... 🙄 Edited September 17, 20205 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Thanks for response Hi Juergen, I don't know of any keyboard shortcuts yet, but I press Escape, then click on return to main menu, then click on exit to windows. It can take a few seconds. You can do alt-enter to go to a windowed mode, then click on the X in the top right corner, but it may not save any settings or accomplishments that way. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Beautiful country Appreciate the help Excellent! 👍 If you don't want to touch the mouse at all, then it looks like Alt-Enter (to get to windowed mode) then Alt-F4 might work for a really speedy exit. 🙂 PS. Yes, I am 30 minutes from Coventry Airport. My family keep threatening to buy me an hour on the B737 simulator there! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). September 20, 20205 yr I usually Exit with an unceremonious Alt-F4, myself, though sometimes I'll go back to Menu and Exit to Desktop from there... I assume when I Alt-F4 it may not "save it's state", so if I just finished a bush activity or something I'll take the time to go back to the menu, but that's usually the only reason I'll do it that way.
