Instrument clarity

Featured Replies

Hello All

Hope everyone is enjoying the upgrade etc

I am flying the Cessna's with the camera in normal pilots head position.

I am finding the digital instruments very hard to read without zooming in specifically.

[No rude comments about new glasses or sit closer to the screen please!!]

Is there a particular setting that might help improve this please

Thanks

Unfortunately the only thing that will improve it is the render scaling slider which is very expensive.

Somewhat surprisingly  the texture super sampling option does not seem to apply to the displays for which the technique (if it means what I think it does  - taking multiple texture samples per pixel and averaging) is ideal.

The problem I believe is that the display is rendered to a texture much bigger than the number of pixels it occupies at normal viewing distance.

Yep, It sucks.. I too can not see them without zooming. I have uped my scaling to 90 and that helps, 100 is really good, but suffer big FPS hit. Although the update seems to of smoothed the sim out with lower FPS. I'm getting by with 30-34 FPS with scaling at 90.and still pretty smooth
