Installation and Content Manager

Featured Replies

Hi,
I have downloaded MSFS2020 Premium Deluxe Version from the MS store.
When I open the game and check the “Official Content” menu in the “Marketplace”, I see the following logo’s:
Premium Upgrade (Owned and Installed); Deluxe Upgrade (Owned) and Premium Deluxe Upgrade (Owned).
If I click on either the Deluxe Upgrade or Premium Deluxe Upgrade icon, I get OWNED, DOWNLOAD and GO TO CONTENT MANAGER selections.
Q: DO I NEED TO INSTALL THESE UPGRADES SEPARATE AND AGAIN?
Thanks for help

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Hello Juergen.

This can be a bit of a false message, like the one that constantly says there is an 80GB upgrade to install.

Best way to check is, next time you are planning a flight, if you can see 30 aircraft, including aircraft such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner (which is only in the Premium deluxe pack), then you have the lot!  I know - it's not very clear is it?! 🙂

The store is being updated for clarity as they improve the sim, but basically the versions are layered, so if you have the Premium Deluxe you have all of the other stuff as well.  The B787 only comes as part of the Premium Deluxe pack, and it isn't possible to have that or just the Premium Deluxe pack on its own, everything else below it in the price order (standard pack etc.) has to come with it. 👍

Hi Bobcat,

Yes it is confusing and that's why I wanted to clarify. I do have the B747 as well as the B787 showing up on the aircraft selection screen, so the correct version must be installed.

Thanks for help
