August 3, 20214 yr I come back to this discussion after SU5. I am trying to refresh the interior model XML without having to restart the sim and it seems that it doesn't work. In developer mode, I tried to reload the aircraft using the aircraft selector and I also tried the Resync action in the project editor. In both cases, I see my model file is not refreshed, as if the sim was still using the existing one in a cache or something. The gauge refresh using the Coherent Debugger works fine, but it refreshes the gauges only, I want to refresh the model. I can see the changes in my model only when I restart the sim :( Any help? August 23, 20214 yr since SU5 saves LOADING CACHE in memory for better performance, RELOAD and RESTART OR RESYNC no longer work. You need to turn on MSFS2020 again and turn it on again

You need to turn on MSFS2020 again and turn it on again and again and again ....but you can still reload an edited flight model, autopilot (aii and systems cfg) or any other cfg file within the simobjects folder without restarting the sim. When you start a new project you have to name it. Then the aircraft menu becomes available with the resync option..
