September 22, 20205 yr Hi new to your software - looks neat but I cant figure it out - I have saitek throttle quadrant I cant seem to get anything to assign on quadrant - loaded question but works fine in sim menu What is the benefit of this over just using in game settings - trying to get my head around this program - thanks Rich Sennett

There is a variant of that TQ that plugs into a special port on the Saitek yoke - and those TMBK don't show up in AAO for everyone. Which is why there is a demo version, so you can try before buy. Why use it? Depends on your use case and if you require the advanced features - Desktop and Web Instruments, MIDI interface, Saitek Switch/Radio/Multi panel connector. The app remembers all controller assignments for each individual aircraft and loads them automatically. If you don't need that functionality, it doesn't have any advantage over just assigning a single yoke and TQ in-sim. Next version will have scripting too, so you can trigger more complex functionality with a single button (=features that are built into the aircaft and that you can't normally trigger with a controller assignment) I made the app three years ago, because I have a somewhat extensive complement of controllers: three Saitek TQs, a PFC yoke, a CH products yoke rebuilt into a HOTAS configuration (using an old CH Fighterstick and TQ), a Saitek TPM, MFG Rudder pedals, 2 Radio, 1 Multi, 1 Switchpanel. I wanted to have the option to assign different configurations to different aircraft, with/without yoke, side sitck, center stick etc. I know that you can do that with FSUIPC, and for many years I did, but for various reasons I wanted my own solution (mostly triggered by those fancy controller setup dialogs in other games). As for the desktop and web gauges, I prefer to zoom in my view so I don't see the instruments - so I had my own instruments made, that I can pull to another screen (for that I bought a cheap 13" LCD and connected it to the internal GPU, leaving my three 34" main screens unhindered on the RTX 2080ti) or display on my phone/tablet. Sure, that could also be solved with TrackIR, and I have one, but I can't always use it (neck trouble). I figured that this is also handy for people using a laptop, which is why I included the mouse yoke feature too (that one isn't there yet in native MSFS) Best regards Edited September 23, 20205 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

I know that there are issues with the PS/2, but I have three USB Saitek TQs connected at the same time and they all work. Two form an airliner thrust lever block on a hand made center console to my right and the third is to my left for planes that are flown with a stick. If you want, send me an email with your order number and the startup log of AAO. Maybe I can figure something out. How does that throttle show up in the Windows controller dialog, and what are the axis called (that information should be on the Windows calibration dialog)? Best regards LORBY-SI
