September 25, 20205 yr VKB says their pedals have only one version, so they are just picked off the shelf and ready to go. Whereas with most of their sticks , the customer customizes it and so they have to assemble, test, and the package it. So, I ordered one set of pedals last night. At $265 (including shipping cost) they are cheap enough, all metal, good reviews on youtube. Let's see how fast it comes to Nevada from China. These days, after MFS release, some controllers are tough to get quickly and tough to find at normal prices. They say, after mailing, most parcels arrive in America in 4 or 5 days. https://vkbcontrollers.com/ 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
October 2, 20205 yr Author Ordered Sept. 24 PM. Arrived Sept. 31 afternoon to residnece via Fedex from China. (7 days). VKB says they now use Fedex for all shipments, something to do with China's wuhan flu laws. Now they can only use Fedex. For orders over $500 a tarrif applies. Order twice if that will keep an order under $500. Quality is great, all heavy metal. Smooth, strong, adjustable pedals. These do not have toe brakes, however, not a problem because I got that covered on another controller. For a flight stick, VKB is the choice of most combat flight simmers, but not all. TM Warthog stick and throttle is also great (they are what I use). The other TM sticks (1600 and T-flight) are really great at their lesser price points (I use the little Tflight on a laptop for FSX). It seems I read that many consider VKB as better than even the Warthog. They do cost more. Their HOTAS throttle VKB TECS is under development and about to be released for sale before Chinese New Year, so they say. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. October 2, 20205 yr Author http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?t=2880 (TECS throttle) EDIT: VKB provided 1 or 2 tracking updates daily thru the fulfillment and shipment process on the pedals. Was reassuring. They're more cagey these days about releasing final renders too early due to an issue with a competitor previously. In any case it's most likely going to be an insta-buy from me. After the success of MFS I'd say they'll gear it to try and work well across combat flight sim as well as GA.
