September 26, 20205 yr Just a few snaps from some late night trips over recent days. First up, as I'm sure you realised (<grin>) is a small apartment block on the outskirts of Brasilia. Brasilia itself was a bit disappointing, but as I was flying away I spotted some interesting looking places on the outskirts and went to take a look. I love the level of (probably inaccurate, but hey) detail here, like the leaf/snow trap mesh on the edge of the roof. And you know me, I do like a nice balcony! A quartet from Hollywood. I'm guessing that's Tower Records' old building just behind the tail? The Hollywood Reservoir. If you've got a big monitor and blow this up full screen you can just make out the Hollwood sign in the middle of the hill in the background Looks a bit cold in there and then, backstage at the Hollywood Bowl The view from the driving seat (somewhere outside Tokyo) Heading up the mouth of the Amazon On the far end of the big island above I spotted a small settlement, went down for a look A bit further on as the sun is going down And just to prove it's not all balconies and backyards with me Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
September 26, 20205 yr Really appreciate your constant exploring and insatiable curiosity. The screenshots are keeping me well entertained until I can get a newer computer capable of running MSFS. John
September 26, 20205 yr Balconies are fine, too, Andy, because, that shows the depth of detail the SIM is capable of....(trust me here is one who has made many un-successful attempts to zoom into arbitrary global scenery spots, at ground-level, (in FSX), with "not-so-good" results...of course, 🙂...)... BTW, liked the "Registration" IDs on your planes...🙂...!!
