REX Weather Force Compatibility & ATIS

Recommended Posts

While I see that P2A has REX Weather integration. Is it compatible for the new Weather Force product for MSFS? Or does it just support REX Sky Force?

If REX Weather Force is supported in P2A, will P2A use it for accurate ATIS?

If REX Weather Force has a metar_report.xml file that it generates, then you should be able to point P2A at that and get it to use their weather.  If it does, then P2A will use it for all weather.

Hello, I actually had the same question, checking in the REX main folder I do not see metar_report.xml.  I do see locationweather.XML and stationweather.xml but neither of those are what P2A is looking for.  I checked in my documents and app data for another Rex folder that might have metar_report.xml but no luck.  Has anyone else located this file (if it even exists in Rex for MSFS?). Does this version of Rex even create a file that can be used by P2A?

Another user reached out to REX and here is what he reported back:

"I was able to reach out to someone at REX and was told that they are going to make there weatherforce compatible with Pilot2atc. now the time frame i don't know but i will keep you informed when I find out."

So we'll just have to wait for them to implement the METAR file.

FYI the most recent release of Weather Force notes compatibility with P2A.
