September 29, 20205 yr During my last two flights flying the QOTS II B747-400 the LNAV or Heading Mode Annunciator on the PFD, depending on which was selected, has come up with a horizontal yellow line through (indicating a malfunction), the shortly after this the autopilot has disconnected. The first time this happened was after about three hours into the flight. Yesterday it occurred after about 10 minutes into flight. I am thinking of deleting the aircraft .cfg file - would this be a reasonable attempt to cure the problem? September 29, 20205 yr Hi, I dont think so. Deleting that aircraft.cfg will likely screw things up because that file wont re-generate automatically since thats a config file for the PMDG aircraft itself. If you were to delete it I think you are looking at re-installing the PMDG aircraft completely. Did you take a look here? This is similar to the problem you described. Its certainly odd that this would occur mid flight. Have you plugged in any new hardware into the sim recently?
